What to expect from an open water swim in Barnard Castle
Meet at the lake jetty at TCR Hub and arrive a few minutes early so you can change. Park at the Hub and follow the signs from the main car park down to the jetty. We brief you on getting in and out safely, and our team is on the jetty while you swim.
You set the pace. The lake is spring-fed and open all year, in every season, and the group is capped at 8. There are toilets, changing areas and a cold shower on site.
It suits anyone who wants time in the lake without a full sauna session, or who has a sauna planned for another day.
