What to expect from a quiet sauna in Barnard Castle
Meet at the lake jetty at TCR Hub. Arrive a few minutes early so you can change. Park at the Hub and follow the signs from the main car park down to the jetty. The sauna and the lake are the same as on any other session. The mood is quieter, with gentle conversation, so you can rest on the benches and take breaks on the jetty without feeling rushed.
Up to 8 people share the space. The dips are optional, so you can stay in the heat if that suits you better. Our team supervises lake access from the jetty throughout. There are toilets, changing areas and a cold shower on site.
Most people take a few rounds of heat, a short dip if they want one, then warm up again with the view across the trees. The lake and the fire are the same. The atmosphere is calmer.
