What to expect from private sauna hire in Barnard Castle

Meet at the lake jetty at TCR Hub. Arrive a few minutes early so you can change. Park at the Hub and follow the signs from the main car park down to the jetty. The fire is ready when you arrive and the sauna and the jetty are yours for the full hour, for up to 10 people aged 16 and over, with no public session running alongside.

You decide how to split the time between heat, cold dips and time together on the bank, and our team supervises lake access throughout. There are toilets, changing areas and a cold shower on site.

Private hire suits birthdays, team socials or friends who want the sauna and the lake to themselves. The difference from a public session is privacy: the sauna, the jetty and the timing belong to your group.

Good to know

Cancel at least 72 hours before for a full refund. Inside 72 hours we can’t promise one, but we’ll try to move you to another session.
Guests are 16 or over. Anyone aged 16 or 17 comes with a responsible adult.
No alcohol or smoking in or around the sauna.
Not sure whether sauna heat or open water suits you, for example with pregnancy, a heart condition or blood pressure? Check with your GP first.
