What to expect from Qigong and sauna in Barnard Castle
Meet at the lake jetty at TCR Hub. Arrive a few minutes early so you can change. Park at the Hub and follow the signs from the main car park down to the jetty. The session opens with an hour of flowing Qigong (Tai Chi), then moves to the wood-fired sauna for fifty minutes of Finnish heat. You don’t need any Qigong experience: we talk you through the sequence.
Guided dips in the lake follow when the group is ready. Up to 8 people take part, so there is space to practise and to sit. Bring layers for the movement and swimwear for the lake. The dips are optional, so you can stay in the heat if that suits you better. Our team supervises lake access from the jetty throughout. There are toilets, changing areas and a cold shower on site.
It suits anyone who wants movement as well as sauna, in one visit rather than two separate sessions.
